MSSI Completes Security Upgrades for NOAA Southeast Fisheries Science Center
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Access Control Upgrade & Hardware Compatibility project for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries, NMFS Southeast Fisheries Science Center.
Following a recent successful upgrade to the current version of the existing Software House C-Cure 9000 PACS, MSSI upgraded the field hardware to be compatible with current and legacy PIV cards. This will allow end-users to leverage their CAC/PIV credentials as a single credential for both logical and physical access to their facility and data systems. As part of the project, card scanners, electronic locks, magnetic latch, and motion detectors were replaced, repaired, or installed, along with a new control system.
Throughout the project, our certified technicians took the time to work closely with the customer and the manufacturers of the Security & Event Management Solution, Software House, to ensure a successful implementation & hand-off.
